Our BSOL Christmas BBQ at the Roma Street Parklands Gardens November 2005
On Sunday the 27th of November I believe between 70 and 100 people arrived and enjoyed a wonderful gathering. Mary Assenbruck's daughter and her children put on a wonderful lunch, three type of meat kebabs, salad, bread roll etc. This was followed by Christmas pudding, fruit, custard and cream. Fruit drinks were available also. I met many people for the first time and took some photographs. Lunch was put on early so that we were away by about 1pm before storms hit Brisbane later in the afternoon. A really nice day. Marie (my darling wife) and I thank all concerned who arranged the day. The winner of the raffle wine was Hazel Nicholson of which there is a photo of her below. Click on the thumbnails to see a bigger photo.
